From Nanofiltration to Microfiltration

We extended our ceramic hollow fiber membrane portfolio to suit specific filtration needs covering nanofiltration, ultrafiltration and  microfiltration! In addition to the standard 30nm pore size, we now have 3nm, 80nm, 100nm and 130nm pore sizes available. Our ceramic NF/UF/MF membranes, CERA~DUR, separate aggressive solids, organics, and emulsified oils from many different industrial water and wastewater applications.

Along with the typical benefits of higher temperatures and chemical resistance that ceramics offer, CERA~DUR can handle up to 100,000 ppm TSS, 20,000 ppm COD and 5,000 ppm oil.  Our ceramic hollow fiber membranes deliver stable flux and high-quality product water for disposal/reuse with <1 ppm TSS, <500 ppm COD and <5 ppm oil.

Repeated case studies have proven CERA~DUR’s success with highly contaminated wastewater. Our ceramic membranes can be used to produce reusable permeate, to recover and recycle raw materials consumption, and to achieve highly concentrated waste to meet disposable requirements. CERA~DUR can also be used as a pre-treatment to nanofiltration and reverse osmosis.

Our hollow fiber membranes are very easy to clean and do not require much chemicals. A quick periodic backwash to remove the fouling layers will improve performance and extend the operating lifetime of our membranes. The ability to achieve high packing density in a single module allows us to offer a greater filtration area than other membranes. Our hollow fiber membrane modules are used to filter large volumes of wastewater utilizing minimal space and energy.
